Sladen Lodge offers a great value proposition for those looking to explore the beautiful Peaks District. the housekeeping at the lodge was impeccable, with rooms that were spotless and comfortable. the heating kept us cozy on chilly evenings, and the soundproofed rooms ensured a peaceful night's sleep. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the terrace, taking in the stunning views of the garden area. the garden furniture was a nice touch, allowing us to relax and enjoy the scenery. the free toiletries provided were a nice added bonus, and the electric kettle in the room was convenient for making a cup of tea. While there was no VIP check-in/out, the staff were attentive and accommodating, making sure all our needs were met. the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the free parking made it easy to explore the surrounding area. Overall, Sladen Lodge strikes a good balance between cost and luxury. the lack of pets and smoking on site ensured a clean and pleasant environment, and the sun terrace was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. We would highly recommend Sladen Lodge for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Hathersage.
